The what and why In 2004, we imported our first set of certified organic flowers — calla lilies and red long-stemmed rose — thinking that they would fly. Unfortunately, no one was interested in buying them at the wholesale level and few at the retail level--mostly friends and family who empathized with us. Our new home looked really pretty for a while. Roll the clock forward 5 years and now there are Veriflora and Sierra Eco flowers readily available for the designers who care to seek them out. We are grateful for the changes that are happening at large as we and future generations will be the beneficiaries. . Today we use the most sustainable, fair trade and highest quality flowers and greenery in every arrangement. Combining freshcut florals with natural fibre flowers is a wonderful option when some permanency is desired for your special occasion.
